@ElisaMichaels - Mueller’s BIAS is obvious in the very beginning of the Report when he states: “Trump fired Comey.” He conveniently omits the fact that Rosenstein wrote a letter to Trump RECOMMENDING that Trump FIRE Comey.
2/ Since Rosenstein was recommending the firing of his “boss” directly to the president, Trump was obligated to follow that recommendation. Mueller skips that part of the scenario and, with the omission of that fact, changes the entire dynamic to make it SEEM that Trump
3/ made a capricious, emotional, baseless and unilateral decision. The omission of that fact in his Report is an overt move by Mueller to redefine the entire firing of Comey to “obstruction” by Trump.

DECODING MUELLER- 1 — Two reasons Mueller didn’t indict Trump: (1) he didn’t have the authority to do so and that he knew before he started his two-year probe (2) Mueller also said he found no evidence of collusion so there was no crime to charge that could be proved.
DECODING MUELLER - 2 — Whenever Mueller says, “Charging the president is not an option we could consider,” he’s saying, (1) long-standing policy prohibits that move and, again, (2) “we could not prove he colluded with Russia to do anything).
DECODING MUELLER - 3 — “We couldn’t PROVE beyond a reasonable doubt that TRUMP colluded with Russia to do anything with our election and we can’t indict somebody else and say Trump ordered collusion because we said nobody else colluded either.

This is how Propaganda works. The reporter says, “reportedly.” In other words, “some guy said his brother MAY have told him he HEARD somebody may have said SOMETHING about this but we don’t have proof so we’ll say, “reportedly.”
2/ Ask these questions in response: “WHO said what is being represented as facts and what are that person’s credentials, what are the actual numbers, how many rallies, where, how are hate crimes defined, by whom, what were the numbers before each rally, after, and lots more?

1. Today it's all about Google CEO Sundar Pichai testifying before the House Judiciary Committee, the committee that handles antitrust. Hearing starts at 10am. Some thoughts. judiciary.house.gov/hearing/transp…
2. Google is in serious trouble. The company is thuggish, corrupt, and monopolistic. Its employees are upset. Its programmatic advertising is fraud-ridden and Youtube subsidiary is an extremist factory. It has of late, however, hidden behind Mark Zuckerberg, who is far clumsier.
3. CEO Sundar Pichai is testifying for two reasons. One, he wants to frame this hearing around the Republicans talking about conservative bias, so the Democrats come to Google's aid. And two, he wants to say 'I already testified' when Democrats are in charge and ask for him.

1. I keep hearing Amazon's choice of NY & DC/Crystal City was about "talent." Yes of course. But it about selecting locations with different kinds if talent, specialized talent pools that meet specific needs.
2. What we are talking about is a very sophisticated kind of corporate locational strategy. This should be a field in business schools & urban programs. But it is not. At least not yet.
3. .@PlaceWonk & I & our @UofTCities team are working on this. We have a Working Paper in the hopper & a piece coming @CityLab tomorrow which previews some of what we have been doing.

OBAMA should be more mindful when accusing Trump about the press & leaks:

1. It is common knowledge among journalists that the #Obama administration has prosecuted more leakers under the 1917 Espionage Act than all former presidents combined. But few admit this truth.
2. The Committee to Protect Journalists released its first comprehensive report on US press freedom.

They discovered that the Obama administration’s policies have undermined the role of the press in three fundamental ways.
3. First, the government’s war on leaks has not only intimidated whistleblowers, it has ensnared journalists.
