Brian Hook, U.S. Special Representative for Iran, debunks myths regarding U.S. sanctions targeting #Iran’s regime & the terrorist-designated Revolutionary Guards (IRGC).
2)
Let’s get into some details.
While Iran’s regime & its apologists/lobbyists claim US sanctions prevent the import of medicine into Iran, the mullahs’ state-run outlets boast about the regime’s readiness to send medicine/medical equipment to Venezuela.

4)
Iran’s state-run ILNA news agency:
"Iran exports $25 million of medicine & equipment to Iraq each year and has the capacity of up to $200 million."

#Iran’s Red Crescent said it is “necessary” to provide Iranian Red Crescent aid to the people in Yemen.

So, Iran does have enough money for its own people’s medical needs.

It just chooses to spend it elsewhere.

Iran's regime is allowing Shabnam Nematzadeh, the daughter of a regime insider, run an import/export pharmaceutical company… all the while the mullahs lie about the U.S. sanctioning medicine & medical equipment…
7)
“… Shabnam Nematzadeh, the daughter of the former Mines and Industry Minister Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh in Hassan Rouhani’s cabinet, was found to be hoarding a stock of medication worth 50 billion rials (approx. $500,000).”

Hezbollah leader:
"Let me be clear. For years, all of our necessities, from medicine to our missiles, all have been provided by Iran. Iran helps Hezbollah, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, resistance groups. Iran helped in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Bahrain ..."

Meet @nargesbajoghli
-Back in April, she claimed to send eye drops to Iran due to US sanctions
-All the while, Iran's own news agencies were reporting the regime's readiness to export medicine & medical equipment to Venezuela
-Bajoghli in May made up stories about war in Iran

Iran lobbyist @tparsi - June 25, 2019
"As US sanctions hit Iran, residents complain of medicine shortages"

For those interested, here are links to several threads debunking these lies pushed by Tehran apologists/lobbyists.

#FakeNews @CNN is one of the main outlets supporting Iran’s mullahs to spread such lies about the U.S. sanctioning medicine.
12)
The UN also spreads these lies about U.S. sanctions targeting Iran’s regime.
In August 2018, two Iranian regime apologists/lobbyists by the names of @AliVaez & @tparsi were tweeting about these lies.
13)
In September 2018, the European Council on Foreign Relations (@ecfr) also resorted to spreading lies & #FakeNews about U.S. sanctions targeting Iran’s regime.
14)
In October 2018, @bozorgmehr of @Reuters joined the pack of spreading lies & #FakeNews about U.S. sanctions banning medicine.
15)
In November 2018, @ntabrizy of the @nytimes resorted to publishing the same range of #FakeNews about U.S. sanctions targeting Iran’s medicine imports.
16)
#FakeNews MSM will never tell you how #Iran's regime has plundered the population for 40 years to such an extent that people are resorting to selling their kidneys to make ends meet.
Telephone numbers of people willing to sell their kidneys & ...
17)
Iran’s regime is known to have mouthpieces parroting their talking points & doing their dirty work abroad.

Listen to a former Iranian regime intelligence minister.
18)
My take:
The U.S. does not sanction medicine imports into Iran.

IMO, whoever spreads such lies is either an Iran regime apologist/lobbyist, or suffering from blind hatred towards U.S. President Donald Trump (such as #FakeNews MSM).
