The phased and responsible termination of the #OpPRESENCE rotation with @UN_MINUSMA in #Mali begins today. We are ending transport aviation tasks to focus solely on medical evacuation operations until the end of August. 
Over the past year, our peacekeepers conducted more than 100 transport missions, flying nearly 3,500 hours in support of @UN_MINUSMA and @UNPeacekeeping in #Mali.
This contribution has enabled the secure movement of @UN_MINUSMA to remote and vulnerable areas of #Mali, and reinforced @UNPeacekeeping efforts to improve stability and security in the country. Bravo Zulu to all those who made these missions a success! #A4P
