Here are my stories.
My Great-Grandma was diagnosed with cancer and was in the ICU for 2 months. With Chemo, etc, she beat it. Sadly 2 yrs later she was diagnosed with breast cancer and died 6months later.

My grandpaw had a seizure and was rushed to hospital, was in Emergency, and over 6 months had a host of tests on his brain. He’s fine now!! Heart and nervous system tests. Specialist meetings.

My grandma has had two knees replaced. My grandpaw has had hip replacement surgery. The wait time for my grandma was long though which was really frustrating. Wait time was close to 1 year, but she now has amazing mobility and quality of life. Total cost 0$. 3/6
My dad and mom has been super lucky and healthy their whole life so far. My human siblings have too. (Couple emerg trips, flus and broken bones but that’s it). All 0$. My pawrents have coverage for eyes and teeth through work. Unless it’s emergency, these are not covered. 4/6
Out of pocket 🇨🇦 spend 0$ for health care. We pay for parking. Most of the time treatment is immediate. Elective surgeries can have long wait times. Emerg treatment has zero wait time. Data shows amazing results short and long term from care in our system. 5/6
🇨🇦 does pay more taxes to make this work. It’s true. My pawrents (who are super healthy) don’t mind. It makes 🇨🇦 strong and fair. Aside from extra coverage for eyes and teeth, we pay no private insurance. There is no paperwork. It has problems, but everyone gets care.
