All well-meaning Nigerians should stand with @YeleSowore and defend his constitutional right and freedom to protest any matter of Governance that worries him.

Mr Sowore’s convening of Citizens to protest Poor Governance - via #RevolutionNow- is Constitutionally guaranteed.
If our @NGRPresident @MBuhari & FG @AsoRock are not completely out of touch with the reality of distress of majority of Citizens of this country, they would handle @YeleSowore ‘s right to convene #RevolutionNow wisely.

I think that the president is the commander-in-chief of the Nigerian armed forces. If security is failing in the country, that is the fastest way to assess the incompetence that the president has shown so far to an issue that affects the majority of his citizens.
I repeat this:

I do not think we should mince words and that is why I am not mincing words. We cannot have @NGRPresident who is comfortable to be in the office, spending the night at the villa, unconcerned about the type of challenges that we the citizens are facing.
I repeat:

Nigerians are greater than anyone person sitting in office.

Someone who saw an online report of my Keynote @WSoyinkaCentre with the headline “@MBuhari is Ruling A Divided Country” wondered @ my very rare use of the word, ‘rule’ instead of ‘govern’.
My Response: @MBuhari is not Governing Nigeria. He thinks Nigeria a Kingdom and he is King.
Does it appear to any reasonable Nigerian that @NGRPresident @MBuhari cares about what’s going on with his citizens? Is there any sign that the state of our Security, Economy, Human Capital, Physical Capital and Social Cohesion worry the President?
He thinks & acts like a ruler.
For as long as Citizens give the @NGRPresident @MBuhari a Free Pass to “balance in the opulence of the Villa” while delivering the shoddiest type of Governance, be sure he will continue to assume his usual entitlement.
Citizens have a Duty to let him know he is Accountable. ✍🏾

Presidency says proscription of Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN) has nothing to do with banning the larger numbers of peaceful and law abiding Shiites in the country from practicing their religion,...
...instead it was to discourage wanton violence, murder and willful destruction of public and private property.
