#BREAKING: Official Statement. Restrictions imposed in Srinagar. Government has imposed restrictions under section 144 CrPC in District Srinagar with effect from Midnight 5th August 2019 which shall remain in force till further orders. (1/n)
As per the order there shall be no movement of public and all educational institutions shall also remain closed. There will be a complete bar on holding any kind of public meetings or rallies during the period of operation of this order. (2/n)
Identity cards of essential services officials will be treated as movement passes wherever required. However, there is no curfew in place as reported in a section of media. (3/3)

1) Execution stopped.

3) Military Court trial not acceptable.

Why is #KulbhushanJadhav innocent?

1) Jadhav was kidnapped from Iran, where he was residing and carrying on business after retiring from Indian Navy.

2) There is absolutely no clarification by Pakistan about the circumstances of his arrest.
India’s persistent efforts led to ICJ Verdict:

1) India fought the kidnapping of Jadhav since the day it was informed about the ‘arrest’.

2) India put intense diplomatic pressure on Pakistan through numerous diplomatic notes & demarches and letter from EAM for Consular Access.

#BREAKING: After sacking of J&K Bank Chairman, the Anti-Corruption Bureau is investigating the following:

1) Meteoric rise of Parvez Ahmed from a CA to Chairman in a span of 15 years, a man with dubious credentials and shady reputation.

2) In the Board of Directors out of 9 Members 2 are from valley, Chairman and a businessman, Ashraf Mir.

3) He got his nephew, Muzaffar, posted in his office after taking over as Chairman. His daughter-in-law, Shazia was appointed as a PO and is now heading Hazratbal branch.
4) 2 branches of J&K Bank, Kaprin Shopian & Wuyan Pulwama operate in his personal premises & in-laws of Chairman. Both locations are non feasible from banking point of view.

5) 2 of his relatives, Asif Beg & M. Fahim, both nephew, control HR & Board affairs & credit proposals.

JUST IN: Today, Indian Air Force (IAF) successfully fired the BrahMos air version missile from its frontline Su-30 MKI fighter aircraft. The launch from the aircraft was smooth and the missile followed the desired trajectory before directly hitting the land target.
The air launched BrahMos missile is a 2.5 ton supersonic air to surface cruise missile with ranges of close to 300km. IAF became the 1st Air Force in the world to have successfully fired an air launched 2.8 Mach surface attack missile of this category on a sea target on 22Nov 17.
Today’s was the second such live launch of the weapon. The integration of the weapon on the aircraft was a very complex process involving mechanical, electrical and software modifications on aircraft. The IAF has been involved in the activity from its inception.

#Breaking - Some defense sources report #Indian air strikes across the Line of Control in Muzafarabad, #Pakistan. Indian air force briefing expected later today. Pakistan said Indian jets dropped their payloads & "fled". More confirmation of details needed.
There are also reports of dual, air and ground Indian strikes in Pakistan occupied Jammu and Kashmir. No official word yet. Waiting for updates. Stay tuned.
There are also reports that 2 Pakistani JF-17s fighter jets have been shot down.
