2. held to implement the 1649 Treaty of Westphalia that marked the end of the Thirty-Years War. The dinner was hosted by the Swedish heir to the throne who had invited emissaries from more than 50 countries and city states to a big party in Nuremberg's town hall. Much of the war
3. was fought in what is now Germany. The work was reprinted as part of a Nuremberg art event. My brother-in-law gave it to me pointing out one of the participants who appeared to me the only person there who was armed. My brother-law showed me the caption that identified him
