@HuckRG @HoC_Speaker_MP Speaker Bercow reflects the will of the house. The opposite of a dictator. In the poll today most people do not support no deal so he is also referring the will of the people as well. The dictator can be found in no 10 trying to by- pass Parliament after the vote leave coup.

@HuckRG @HoC_Speaker_MP 1. Speaker Bercow stands in the tradition of Speaker William Lenthall in standing against bullying by the Crown Minsters. When Charles I invaded the H of Commons with armed troops ‘ & demanded he give up the location in the House of MPs Lenthall at risk to his own neck said this:

As did Speaker Lenthall so does Speaker Bercow in standing up Johnson in denying prorogation against will of the HofC

@HuckRG @HoC_Speaker_MP 3. This is what the Brexit fanatics overlook. This is about Parliamentary sovereignty in a real sense not as they distorted it during the referendum. It is about the executive being prevented from over reaching its powers against Parliament which we elect.

The names may change as do many of the issues that cause controversy, but what is unchanged since the 17th century is that the crowns ministers cannot override the will of Parliament and the speaker is there to protect the integrity of the commons. Bercow is a fine Speaker.
