You're a complete newbie and you want to learn how to run successful FB ad campaigns.

Would you rather gain experience running ads for an ecom store or lead gen for a business?

Here's what I think 👇
Personally, I think it's a no brainer.

I'd much would rather gain the experience running ads for an ecom store.

Like I've said previously it's obviously harder to successfully run ecom campaigns.

So, if you can gain the experience it'll be much easier to transfer to lead gen.

It's important to start preparing your ecom store now for the upcoming holiday season.

One of the biggest issues during the holidays are shipping times especially if you are dropshipping.

So, here's how you fix it....

**THREAD**
During the holiday season there are a large amount of individuals that are purchasing something and need it before a specific date.

The best example of this is Christmas.

So, if you are dropshipping you need to be careful how and when you market your store.
If you're going to continue marketing your product up until Christmas you need to make sure people are aware they won't be getting it before then.

If you don't you will have a customer service nightmare during the days leading up and after Christmas.

A lot of people ask me if I use the expand targeting option.

I've always said no because I tested it last year and saw bad results.

However, I wanted to give it another try.

So, in this thread I'll explain what it is and why I'm testing it again.

**Expand Targeting Thread**
Expand Targeting is an option that allows you to potentially increase your audience if FB thinks it can get you a conversion at a lower cost.

The reason why I say potentially is because it's not always going to be increasing your audience size.
FB will only increase your audience size when they think there is a higher chance elsewhere.

FB of course keeps us in the dark and provides us no info on the audience it expands to, how many times it expands, what actually triggers an expansion, etc.

It sucks I know.

How To Reduce Your Fb Ad Costs By 90%

If you're running ads, you know that facebook ads are f n expensive and sucks your money like a blackhole.

The only way to get CHEAP results is to show your ads to RELEVANT people.

And the best way is to create a lookalike audience (LLA)
How do you do that?

Well, you need DATA. And DATA is expensive.

You need to have around 1000 emails from people in your niche to create an EFFECTIVE LLA. (Not a must, sweetspot)

1000 people's data will cost you at least $2000.

UNLESS you do this >>
I found a software that scrapes emails from facebook groups.

Fitness niche? Just type in the keyword "fitness" and you'll find hundreds of pages and groups.

Solutions offered:
1: Order from the restaurant, get a taxi pick it up.

Challenge:
1. No Cash
2. I'm a 21st Digital Marketer that still doesn't trust online food delivery in JA
Step 2.

Findings:
- Not user-friendly (and I'm a digital marketer that can break down any site functionalities)
- I don't know where is open or closed
- I just don't trust spend my $$$ here and I'm uncomfortable in the first 15 secs of browsing the site

Both numbers are crazy. Can any Facebook marketer explain to me how you run 6m different ads?

Does every targeting variant count as a distinct ad? Does this include e.g. automated generation of text+image versions according to diverse targeting criteria? bloomberg.com/news/articles/…
I mean, is it for example like:
- you have 1,000 predefined regions/cities
- for each region you have 5 text variants for 5 sub groups (using additional targeting criteria e.g. according to political views)
- resulting in 5,000 different versions of ads per occasion?
Or, for example:
- for every promoted FB post, automatically upload 1,000 tiny seed audiences to Facebook and then target similar people ('lookalikes')?
