The announced strikes or incidents are 3 till the moment, yet it's unknown whether there were more during the past few months. The Iraqi government seem to prefer ignoring the whole thing, yet the PMU deputy commander Abu Mahdi AlMuhandes was pushing for a clear stance

PMU commanders had a decision not to speak till yesterday, they were expecting a statement by the PM
@AdilAbdAlMahdi over the incidents, when this didn't happen #AlMuhandes issued his statement that infuriated the PM

A statement later was issued by PMU chief @FalihAlfayyadh who hinted that something happened and it was perpetuated by an outside element, yet he indirectly condemned #AlMuhandes' statement and said it doesn't reflect the PMU's official stance

The row in within the #PMU over the statements underscores a wider gap on the decision how to deal with the latest events, they all believe these were Israeli strikes, Israeli imbiguity is fueling these suspicions, so are radar reports reaching the PMU from external sources

Prominent Iraqi Ayatollah Kazem AlHaeri issues a fatwa that regards US military presence in Iraq as Haram.

The statement read "I say it clearly, and announce it from my legitimate position, the presence of any American military force in #Iraq, whether for training, or as advisors, or to combat terrorism is Haram"

Pentagon comments on Israeli strikes in #Iraq:
1- Iran must not use Iraqi territory to threaten other countries in the region. 2- Iran's destabilizing activities undermine Iraq's security and increase the risk of regional conflict.

Pentagon:
3- We support Iraqi sovereignty and repeatedly spoken out against any potential actions by neighbors that could lead to violence in #Iraq
