MSM is framing this bombing of Gaza as Israel “retaliating”.

Media don’t report Israel’s crimes, so I tracked Israel’s ONE-SIDED violations of the ceasefire between May 6 & mid-June, when it again bombed Gaza.

Gaza is retaliating, NOT Israel.

From JUNE 14:

1) Warplanes are bombing Gaza. Here are the main events that led to this.

Since March 30, 2018, unarmed Palestinians in Gaza have carried out “Great March of Return” weekly (Friday) protests at the “border fences”, which are lined with Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) soldiers.

2) The UN reports that Israel has killed nearly 300 nonviolent protestors (by June 2019), most of which are young men, others killed near these protests include ~50 young children, myriad paramedics, myriad clearly-marked “press”, and numerous visibly-disabled observers.

3) Aside from these outright murders of protestors, the IDF has wounded ~30,000 (THIRTY THOUSAND) nonviolent protestors and protest-observers, since it’s start, barely over a year ago.

This occurs in a tiny strip of land where 97% of the water is lethal, toxic poison (none

4) for consumption or medical use), no sanitation services, a dearth of electricity, dearth of med supplies and med technology, dearth of food, dearth of building materials, dearth of humanitarian aid. As such, countless wounded Palestinians end up with severe amputations

5) and, of course, without prosthetics.

In violation of international law, Israel (and Egypt) have monopolized the sea, suffocating the Palestinian fishing industry from the zone where any fish other than small sardines and bottom-fish reside. This has devastated the

6) food-supplies and the so-called “economy” in Gaza (they do NOT have an actual economy, due to the blockade).

The entire fishing zone has now been completely closed to all Palestinian fisherman as of June 13, 2019 (Israel-Palestine time) under the pretext of Palestinian

7) protestors launching ‘incendiary balloons and kites’ into Israel.

Israel has continuously shot, killed, jailed, and seized fisherman or their property while on the sea, where, in Gaza, there is virtually no way for one to import the materials needed to repair their boats,

8) leaving fisherman without means for subsistence.

This does not include the massive list of violent Israeli military incursions into the West Bank, the countless abductions and imprisonments of Palestinian children, and the brutal assaults of Palestinian women and children by

9) Israeli police/IDF/ISF, settlement expansions, and more in the West Bank. Nor does it include the massive list of Israel’s violations of international law in the Jerusalem, including a mind-boggling number of illegal land-grabs, demolitions, and the like.

According to the

10) UN, Israel—by systematic and calculated design—has run Gaza down to the condition of “un-livability”, and Gaza will soon be “uninhabitable” for human life.

These are all actionable offenses by Israel that have been unimproved despite every peaceful measure carried out by

11) Palestinians in Gaza & in the West Bank.

Palestinians have the legal right to armed self-defense, in the face of all of this, and yet, week after week, they chose nonviolence, as Israel massacred hundreds and wounded tens-of-thousands.

May 3, 2019, at the protests, Israeli

12) forces sprayed live-bullets at a crowd of protestors. In response, armed protestors, shot back, wounding 2 Israeli soldiers.

Israel then struck a Hamas outpost (Gaza’s military, NOT a terrorist organization, though I loathe much of what they do and say), killing 2 Hamas

13) soldiers.

May 3, 2019: Israel claimed, yet without proper evidence, that a rocket was fired from Gaza into Israeli territory, landing in an open area, causing no harm, no damage.

May 4, 2019: Israel responded by launching a full-scale military air-raid over Gaza, landing

14) massive bombs upon hundreds of known civilian-only residential buildings, neighborhoods, and more.

Israeli bombs killed 25 Palestinian civilians, including children and pregnant women. Over 700 residences were destroyed, as well as Mosques, roads (in a place w/o materials

15) to rebuild, where roads are already beyond 3rd world conditions), cars, motorcycles, resorts/shelters, and more. Catastrophic, largely-irreparable damage.

Gaza’s 2 militant factions launched ~ 690 “rockets”. They are basically “enhanced-fireworks” according to Dr. Norm

16) Finkelstein, made of homemade pipes in a region without even the most rudimentary building materials. However, Hamas AND Israel both have a stake in calling them “rockets”. Hamas wants to appear like a real military for the sake of its dignity and deterrence-strategy, and

17) Israel wants Hamas to appear like a terrorist organization, in order to continue their blockade, the land-grabs, the continuing displacement (and therefore expulsion) of millions of Palestinians, because, so long as there are so many Palestinians, Israel cannot implement an

18) actual democracy without being overwhelmed by the Palestinian vote. This is why Palestinians do not have (Knesset) voting rights, as well as the basis for all else that Israel has carried-out since around its inchoate stage of 1897.

5 Israelis were killed, which must of

19) course be mourned and condemned, yet so must consideration of proportion and scale of damage. One house was damaged. One road was damaged.

May 6, 2019: Egypt brokered a ceasefire whose terms are not entirely known. We do at least know that, as always, Hamas’s demands were to

20) reduce the blockade (to lessen the socioeconomic suffocation Palestinians are enduring and dying under). We also know that Hamas demanded expansion of the nautical-miles for Palestinian fisherman. We also know that Israel demanded no more rocket-fire from Gaza, and that

21) Hamas demanded the same nonviolence from Israeli troops (hence, “ceasefire”). We also know that Israel alone has failed to meet these and other possible conditions for the ceasefire.

May 10, 2019: At the Great March of Return, Israeli troops shot nonviolent protestor, 24-

22) year-old Abdulla Jom’a Abdul ‘Al in the stomach—killing him. They then shot and wounded 30 other nonviolent, unarmed protestors.

This was an IMMEDIATE violation of the ceasefire, to which Palestinians had every LEGAL right to respond with armed self-defense, but they do not.

23) Nor were any rockets fired.

Same day, they then shot a Palestinian farmer on his own agricultural land, while he was working, peacefully. They also shot a Palestinian fisherman at sea, who was fishing within the “allowed” nautical mileage.

Nearly every week since, Israel

24) has killed and shot hundreds of more protestors, cut off the fishing zone, failed to lessen the blockade, and more. Amidst all this, throughout this entire time, NO ROCKETS were fired from Gaza, as Hamas stated that it does not want war with Israel, even though international

25) law accords Palestine the legal right to armed self-defense.

On June 5, 2019: Hamas officials warned Israeli forces that if it doesn’t stop its “foot-dragging” in meeting the ceasefire terms, Hamas will recommence its attacks. Such attacks would be legally retaliatory to

26) the massive physical and economic violence carried out by Israel since the May 6th ceasefire.

June 13, 2019 (Israel-Palestine time): Israel claimed that an unknown source from Gaza shot a rocket into Israel, intercepted by Israel’s “iron dome”. No deaths. No injuries.

27) June 13, 2019: Israel launched another aerial assault, bombing Gaza, encircling, and hovering overhead with warplanes and drones.

Currently, Eastern and Southern Gaza have been bombed.

No injuries currently reported.

28) This only covers Israel’s violations from May 6 to June 14. Since, Israel‘s committed 1000’s more violations by maiming, killing, demolishing, annexing, torturing, abductung, bombing, economically-strangling, water-hoarding, & MORE. Gaza FINALLY shot a “rocket” after many

29) warnings to Israel, who REFUSED to comply w/ the ceasefire.
