Hi Kathy! I'm not ashamed of being white!
But I'm also not proud of it, per se. I am proud of my work, my parenting, my marriage, my friendships, my mountain bike skills, etc.
Whiteness is a part of my identity but it's not an accomplishment. Not is it a source of shame.

I'm not sure where you got the idea that I'm ashamed of being white. I'm interested if you can share a quote with me that I've said that led you to this belief.
In fact, I even say in this thread not to teach white boys using shame (or anyone, really).
