Some good news for UK business - the Government has launched the webpage enabling businesses to report overseas trade barriers. At first sight looks relatively simple, and they hope to respond within 5 working days.

It is important than businesses who experience difficulties exporting use the service, as these can feed into our trade negotiations or diplomatic activity. Modern trade is complex, but you don't need FTAs to remove barriers. I hope to hear some success stories soon...
I am reminded by trade guru @AnnaJerzewska that DIT should also be telling business about barriers before exporting / importing.
