George W. Bush - the occasionally misguided but kind, dignified patriot who did the Office proud - never fired John Bolton, but Trump just did. I wonder which ideas of Bolton were ultimately so incompatible with Trump's worldview that it resulted in his termination?

Remember when super-patriotic cable geniuses told everyone that Trump chose Rex Tillerson as his Secretary of State because Putin ordered it, then said Trump fired Tillerson because he was anti-Russia? I do. This has been the state of US discourse for 3 years. It can't get lower. 
I guess I shouldn't say it can't get lower because . . . you know . . . this happened on TV quite recently
