@EricLiptonNYT @TheScotsman The new NYT story also claims Trump bought Turnberry for $70m (£56m). He didn't. Not for anywhere near as much as that. The figure was £34m ($42m). This is simple stuff - publicly available records that are easily verifiable.
@EricLiptonNYT @TheScotsman There are three other glaring errors in the piece. Two minor. One significant. But I suppose if the NYT adopts such a cavalier attitude to reporting, I shouldn't care too much on its behalf.
