Whoo... not going to retweet Maggie Sunshine's zero self-awareness tweet on this article, but. It's a doozy, a view from outside the country on reporting on Hair Furor and how much our press tidies up his rambling blather.

Back when he gave more press interviews, I noted ruefully how prominently the released transcripts all bore a disclaimr that they were "edited for clarity".

Which isn't unique to him, but when you contrast that legend with how incoherent the edited transcripts still were...

"In most circumstances, presenting information in as intelligible a form as possible is what we are trained for. But the shock I felt hearing half an hour of unfiltered meanderings from the president ... made me wonder whether the editing does our readers a disservice."
