Thinking about what @lawrence said last night re: treason charges not being in queue for anyone because they didn't aid a declared enemy.

But Russia has declared us their enemy...

and they have Ward DeClaur.

In this document, it's patently clear that Russia is taunting us by saying

"Well, if we _did_ hack the DNC, it wasn't a tort - it was a military attack, an act of war*... and only the State can move against us."

So, perhaps it's time for congress to declare that Russia has declared war on US, and that - while we may not be planning any offensive measures - they are still a declared enemy of our democracy.

Making that declaration would permit congress to authorize the release of funds to defend our elections...

but more importantly, any Vladik-fellating acts Trump et. al. engage in going forward COULD be charged as treason.

I.E., were Trump or his minions to disseminate kompromat received via enemy intelligence services against those in EITHER party, that aid and support to the enemy COULD be charged as Treason.
