On Sept. 20, a transgender woman was shot six times on the streets of Dallas. For more than a week, we didn't know who she was or how she was faring.

Daniela told us about how the man who shot her first solicited her for oral sex. After she told him she is transgender, he changed his mind. But then he pursued her.

“Then he tells me, ‘Tonight you won’t live anymore. At any moment, they will kill you.’”

She ran, hiding out in a nearby shop.

That's when he drove past her and pulled out a gun.

@LaVendrickS @anxious_maria 8/ Domingo Ramirez-Cayente was arrested for the crime. He admitted to shooting Daniela. But his bond was set at $25,000 and the next day he was bailed out.

Daniels wanted him re-arrested and kept behind bars.

But Daniela, who used to love biking and running, now has trouble walking or even standing. Her arm has been hurting a lot. She goes back into surgery today.
