We hear a lot about what science tells us about climate change. Science alone doesn't tell you how to convert what we know into 'optimal' global GHGs, the best policies to get there, or how to distribute whatever global GHG target you prefer across regions, countries and time.
Pretending that there's some law of physics that tells you want Canada's emissions need to be between now and 2050 is lazy and dishonest. It's a way to avoid difficult conversations and dealing with issues which are essential to addressing climate change.
And yes, I know this is an Arby's. It's still important.
