You are a idiot for pulling back out of Northern #Syria, you are giving #Turkey exactly what they want the land to steal and to release #ISIS fighters from their prisons to kill even more Kurdish people and Christians in that part... The #US should be ashamed of them selves...
Investing billions of dollars into the #SDF and #YPG fighters and now you are leaving them to basically die in the hands of #Turkey and leaving Turkish fighters to free #ISIS prisoners because Erdogan loves them to fight for him...
And not to mention the #EU with the #UN gave #Turkey over 65 billion Euros of the 150 billion package to keep the Syrian refugees over there in Turkey. But what most people do not know is that Turkey build a Northern wall with a vast amount of that money.

1. Only Syrian component that complies with Geneva is the Autonomous Administration of North & East Syria. That's a simple fact. Assad says he won't comply with Geneva. So the task is to force Assad regime to comply. Increase sanctions to make support for Assad economic suicide.
2. The article makes a comment that a federal Syria is a concept that is advanced by the teaching of the imprisoned banned PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan. That is true but the concept of federalism as a way to create a stable democracy among diverse regions is not unique to the PKK.
3. Federalism, though imperfect, is the basis for United States' democratic experiment that has stood the test of time. I could conceive of a united Levant under regional federal states. For now, federal Syria is the only cure to the seeming endless civil war and the US as the

Interesting that Kurdish outlets are publishing these details. The YPG has an interest in showing there's an alternative to the "safe zone" Ankara and Washington are discussing #Syria
The current configuration suggests there will be two rival negotiating tracks, one US-sponsored track focused on creating a safe zone along the #Syria-#Turkey border, and another Russia-backed track meant to integrate the SDF back into the regime
Those two tracks can complete each other, but they also most likely will be in competition. If the SDF feels Washington is siding with Turkey, it will be more willing to make compromises with the regime for instance #Syria
