(Thread) Should we have a confirmatory referendum?

Brexiters cry: what then? a third, a fourth, a fifth until you like the result?
I've heard this argument many times, argued as if the result of the 2016 was an act of serendipity; a fluke, that may or may not happen again, like a toss of a coin that could be reversed and re-reversed randomly each time you repeat the exercise.
Of course, that's a false argument: democracy is never random; it's well-thought out and considered (or should be), and it always reflects the current wishes of the people.
A real democracy should be free to run and re-run referendums as often as it wants, to check, validate, re-verify the results when important decisions are at stake.

A confirmatory referendum is just that; a chance for the people who are impacted by Brexit to confirm…
…that they do want to proceed, now that we know the terms under which we will leave the EU.

This time, I'd like ALL British Citizens to be consulted wherever they live in the world, and no matter how long they've been absent from the UK.
I'd also like those EEA citizens living in the UK to be asked, and not just the Irish, Maltese and Cypriots like last time round. Let's see what people think when we ask everyone.
Ideally I would also like parliament to decide either before the vote (if binding) or after (if advisory) what constitutes sufficient margin to warrant such a big change like leaving the EU. Is 52% enough?
Brexiters need not fear another referendum, unless that is, they believe the 2016 result was a mere fluke.

If Brexit really *is* "The Will of the People", surely it will be evidenced by a confirmatory vote?
