Today we published the second installment of our survey of 5,000 Tesla owners: customer service and charging 1/

First, check out the number of service visits a new owner requires to fix problems that came with their car. Super impressive trend—but this is more about Tesla getting better at making cars, not improving service (see part 1: bloomberg.com/graphics/2019-…) 2/
For service, Tesla still has a lot of work to do. In 2018 it sold more cars than it had in the previous decade combined. The service infrastructure wasn’t ready for it, leading to long service delays and poor communication. It’s still a problem /3

To help speed up access to service, Tesla is rolling out hundreds of Mobile Service vehicles that travel to where customers live or work to do their repairs. Owners ❤️❤️mobile service. But dealing with Tesla by email or phone? Not so much /4 bloomberg.com/graphics/2019-…
Some good news for Tesla owners. If you follow closely, you've probably heard stories of brutally long waits for replacement parts. Musk promised to fix the problem, and serious progress has been made (though there still room to improve) 5/ bloomberg.com/graphics/2019-…
Superchargers—beloved by owners for speed, price, availability. But opinions vary on based on where you live and how you charge. Those who don’t have easy charging at home/work want more. Canadians are still waiting for a cross-country connection 6/ bloomberg.com/graphics/2019-…
Coolest chart of the day: battery degradation. There's been very little public data about real-world battery longevity for EVs. It’s still early, but so far the Model 3 is setting a new standard 7/ bloomberg.com/graphics/2019-…
I’ve only skimmed the surface, and this was just Part 2 of 4. Can’t wait to share the rest next week. Thanks to the people who took the survey! And the awesome crew that helped pull this off: @dean_halford, @cedricsam, @YueQiu_cuj 8/ bloomberg.com/graphics/2019-…
