Kartarpur Sahib. Just 4 km from the border. That one decision of Radcliffe deprived millions of Indians a darshan of the holiest of Sikh shrines. They worship it through binoculars now.

Radcliffe had never even visited India before he was commissioned to draw up the partition line. Amritsar would have gone to Pakistan as well but for Lord Wavell's timely intervention. He gave away Lahore because, "I had given you Indians Calcutta".
