CAJ Cmmr in Charge of ATI, Ms Lucy Ndung’u joined other delegates during the 18th General Meeting of the Network for Transparency and Access to Information in Latin American organised by the National Institute for Transparency, Access to Information and Personal Data Protection.
The meeting which is taking place in Mexico City is aimed at following up commitments made by the member counties, strategic cooperation projects on transparency and access to information
as well as establishing principles related to the importance of guaranteeing the exercise of access to information as a human right in a democratic state.
Ms Ndung’u is set to make a presentation on the implementation and monitoring of SDG 16.10.2 in Kenya.
The SDG 16.10 seeks to promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels.
