I feel sorry for the creators of TamTam, the platform that has been invaded by ISIS. It took Telegram 5 years to make a dent in the terror group’s presence, which only happened a few days ago. The channels below were created hours ago on TamTam & are chockfull of ISIS propaganda:
I’ve been off TamTam for a few hours. Look at how many missed posts there were in that time in the ISIS channels I follow. Much depends on how TamTam responds, but given they don’t even have a Twitter account (suggesting they’re understaffed) I do wonder if this is ISIS’ new home
And I’ve been corrected: TamTam’s Twitter account is @tamtamchat. And they’re asking for help ID’ing ISIS accounts:

1. I’ve had a chance to check in with sources, including two US officials who had intelligence briefings after the strike on Suleimani. Here is what I’ve learned. According to them, the evidence suggesting there was to be an imminent attack on American targets is “razor thin”.
2. In fact the evidence pointing to that came as three discrete facts: a) A pattern of travel showing Suleimani was in Syria, Lebanon & Iraq to meet with Shia proxies known to have an offensive position to the US. (As one source said that’s just “business as usual” for Suleimani)
3. More intriguing was b) information indicating Suleimani sought the Supreme Leader’s approval for an operation. He was told to come to Tehran for consultation and further guidance, suggesting the operation was a big deal - but again this could be anything.

1. Very interesting research by ⁦@ToreRHamming⁩ into an ISIS-affiliated attacker in Sweden, who was acquitted of a Molotov cocktail attack on a Shia mosque. Go back through the coverage & you’ll see how ppl initially discounted it as not being ISIS. ctc.usma.edu/2016-copenhage…
2. Argument I heard at the time regarding Malmo attack is that it was an attack on a mosque, so couldn’t be ISIS. What folks missed is that it was a Shia mosque. Before ISIS sent French suicide bombers to attack Paris, they sent a Frenchman to attack Shia targets in Lebanon
3. And of interest is that @ToreRHamming’s research shows that an ISIS media operative reached out to the assailant in Sweden to confirm whether he’d carried out the attack. Public continues to think ISIS claims of responsibility for attacks are opportunistic.
