I have a great deal of respect for the anti-police state work done by @SenFeinstein.

I'm on the edge of my seat wondering if she's about to throw it all away for party and power.
@SenFeinstein Feinstein is obfuscating the predicate for the counter-intel investigation for the evidence used as justification at the FISA Court, FISC.

So, she answered my question. In the end, even the great DiFi is willing to throw away for party and power.
Simple question to ask yourselves.

If the predicate was strong enough to open an investigation and forgo a defensive briefing, then why did they need to lie to the FISC to obtain the FISA warrants?

Conservatives, with the exception of Scotland, have had a great night. Their political enemies have been electorally decimated.

But friends are expressing disappointment in Scotland.

Con: 48.4% (-5.5%)
SNP: 38.8% (+6.0%)
LDem: 8.1% (+3.4%)
Lab: 4.7% (-3.9%)
Conservatives HOLD Hexham, notably one of the only in the region to increase their share.

Con: 54.5% (+0.4%)
Lab: 31.6% (-2.5%)
LDem: 10.1% (+3.0%)

Paul Williams barely won Stockton South in 2017. He's going down in another Conservative GAIN over Labour.
Gordon Marsden held Blackpool South by roughly the same margin in 2015 and 2017. That seat goes in another Conservative Gain.
Conservatives were bullish on their chances in Sedgefield
and North West Durham earlier in the night. Last few calls lent credibility to that view.

Dewsbury, Redcar and Workington looking like potential Conservative Pickups.
UPDATE: Workington is a Conservative Gain. Near 10-point swing to Cons from Labour and 8k vote swing to 4k rough majority.
I think we're about to start really seeing those gains.

Ppl imagine a cult. Tattoos. You believe EVERYTHING.

But the journeys ppl take are extremely varied. Maybe they worked at company X with Y. Maybe they wrote a book. Read a book. Invented a pattern. Gave a great talk.
3/n-I have a keen interest in not diminishing the work of people I have a great deal of respect for. I don't want those voices silenced/ridiculed.

I don't want their work repackaged as new without credit. That would be very sad, and a loss.

There's so much value there.

The motion is weak and the basis is LOLable, but my suspicion is that the judge will grant it (though likely for less than 3 weeks)

Defendants will argue the burden is on Plaintiff to show good cause (the motion doesn't do that), plus ongoing harassment

Positive for the Defendants. He gives their attorneys lots of usable material

A good rule of thumb as y'all see an assortment of "bUt ThEy LiEd UnDeR oAtH" tweets from conVics is that they're typically projecting – accusing others of the things they themselves or R.Broly have done

The professional politicians have done an excellent job of splitting up the issues to keep the citizens fighting with each other so we don’t focus on the fact that they are the problem, not us.
The professional wrestling promoters know that good fighting evil and prompting the audience to be involved in the action will keep people engaged. Our career politicians know it, too.

Without a crisis to engage the public, the career politician is less significant.
