My voting history. First #GeneralElection I was eligible for was 1992. That was just after the poll tax & I think I wasn't on the register. In 1997 I voted for @Lisa_Lovebucket of the Rainbow Referendum Dream Ticket Connection Party (I had to Google that to get it right)...

... shifted the Overton window rightwards, even without winning a seat, so I decided I would vote for a party rather than writing what I thought & felt on the ballot. I voted Green. Neither them nor Labour had a chance in our constituency at that point

After that election...
... was when Corbyn became LOTO. I didn't join the Labour Party at that point but I did hope he would win. Going back to the New Labour elections I had said that I couldn't vote for New Labour but if I was in the constituency of someone like Corbyn or John McDonnell I would...
.. consider voting for them. And so it went on till the Referendum. I voted Remain tho I'm not uncritical of the EU (remember Greece anyone?) I couldn't believe it when, at the Tories point of greatest weakness the PLP turned on Corbyn. I was raging & joined the Labour Party...
... at that point to defend the best chance we have had of radical change in this country well before the #ChickenCoup plotters finally got it together to put up a candidate

Needless to say I've #VotedLabour ever since

The thing that gets to me re #punchgate and @bbclaurak & @Peston's role in it is how they've reacted afterwards

Compare with @afneil & Johnson's no-show. I was pissed off with the BBC & Neil until he did that piece to camera. That was fair enough, he can't force him to show...

...actually read the memo, she was aware the Immigration Enforcement Agency was attempting to increase enforced returns by 10%. How did she think that was going to happen? Put in some policies & hope for the best? Anyone who has worked in any sort of modern large... 2/x
...organisation would know that that would be broken down into regional targets, team targets, all the way down to individual officials' KPIs, which was, of course, the evidence given to the Select Committee this week.

I needed some help today with a new drainage system. My neighbours instantly came to help with advice, details of French law and offers of help.
3/This became eventually an “Apero”, eventually turning into an “Apero Dinatoire”. Think beer, then spirits with beer then wine with the meal etc all accompanied by conversation in French which was mostly totally inane and you might have a tiny bit of an idea what it is like.

1/I know folks are nervous or frustrated with calling for #impeachment. Many would prefer to focus on policy, organizing, and GOTV in 2020. I think we can do both. Also saying, 'We just need to vote Trump out' is not going to be as easy as folks think. Why? Voter Suppression.

I met these young women while walking my pups in my beachside community. For privacy reasons, I won’t share their real names (let’s call them “Julie” and “Amy”), but they graciously allowed me to share their stories.
One the best parts of walking my “boys” (Bowen and Bynum) is that I get to meet lots of strangers. I mean, who can resist these two?😍

Seriously, the pups break the ice, and as a consequence, I’ve met lots of interesting people.
