And the Republicans claim to be shocked that Democrats regarded Trump as a threat to the Constitution from the moment he was elected.
Trump's authoritarian disinformation campaign to undermine our constitutional democracy began BEFORE he even won the election. It has just continued apace since then. This disinformation campaign will only work to the extent that others in power agree to participate in it.
So far, the entire GOP, both its elected officials and its media/propaganda arm, seem eager to cosign the corrosive long game of Trump's multi-pronged disinformation campaign in order to serve their short-term political self-interest.
How ironic that the people who spent decades in a lather about "post-modern academics who don't believe in truth" have become eager aiders and abetters of our first, fully post-truth Presidential Administration.
