SALEM COUNTY DEMOCRATIC CONVENTION IN #NJ02
March 12, 2016.

2) This was the process used to snub out NJ-2 congressional candidate, Tanzie Youngblood. Hence, this email and secret video are the eyes and ears of the voiceless within the Democratic Party. This video specifically focuses on Salem County but discrimination is systemic

3) runs through the veins of all the counties in NJ-2

4) Watch how Salem County (NJ) Democratic Committee Chair Steve Caltabiano stacks the cards in favor of the political candidates that “he” has personally endorsed in the 2018 NJ primary race, US Senator Robert Menendez, and NJ District-2 Congressional Candidate Jeff Van Drew.

5) @stevecaltabiano states the the rules for the convention are silent and that the (8-0) votes by the members of the Salem Executive Committee Board for the Senatorial and Congressional Endorsements were made over breakfast the Saturday before the convention.('◉⌓◉’)

6) At this convention, @stevecaltabiano called for a vote from present Committee members to change the bylaws to suit his need/desire to appoint his personal attorney, #AdamKelsey, as the Salem County Committee treasurer.

7) Then on to the political endorsement of the unfavored, unFLAVORED candidates present for this convention ( #SeanThom, @tanziefornj & #MitchHorn). None of these candidates were allowed to speak the the convention since by Catalbiano rules, they were not elected officials.

8) Flexing his political muscle, @SenSweeney announced that he, in his capacity as a State Senator, & an official rep of @SenatorMenendez , is allowed to speak on Menendez’s behalf

9) (btw, @stevesweeneynj arrived to the convention in his black Cadillac Escalade, chauffeured by a Black driver, totally looking like “Driving Mr Daisy” on a Saturday afternoon burning up taxpayer dollars)

10) Also captured in the video is an effort to ensure fairness in the democratic process by Senatorial candidate #MitchHorn who attempted to ask a quest & was denied by @stevecaltabiano who stated only Exec Committee members & Honorary Members were allowed to ask questions.

11) @stevecaltabiano further defined Honorary members as elected and appointed officials of Salem County.

9:03 mark, Caltabiano personally endorses SenMenendez.

10:42 mark: Caltabiano establishes rules of the mtg. No speeches by any candidate other than @CongressmanJVD b/c he has standing as an elected official & honorary member of the Salem County Committee.

13) 14:58 mark: #MitchHorne request to address the voting delegates. He is running against @SenatorMenendez . He asks for a fair democrari process. @stevecaltabiano Caltabiano tells him he has no standing in the meeting. He’s not an elected official.

14) 16:43 mark: The Salem Democratic Committee members vote on and adopt @stevecaltabiano Caltabiano’s rules

17:00 mark: Committee members vote for endorsement of candidate of US Senator (24-6)

15) 24:35 mark: Call for Committee membrs to vote for #NJ02 candidate F (#JeffVanDrew, @tanziefornj , #WillCunningham & #SeanThom)

24:51 mark: @tanziefornj establishes her own standing in the Dem Comm mtg & boldly introduces herself to the delegates & members of the public.

16) 31:23 mark: Caltabiano announces Salem Dem Committee @CongressmanJVD receives “endorsement line” ( JVD-24, @tanziefornj -5, #SeanThom-1)

17) 36:53 mark: @CongressmanJVD speaks. He says he’s not going to be a Congressman who is in DC all the time. He gives his word that he will have a presence in Salem County

18) This recoding was terminated at the approximate 38 minute mark but in summary Caltabiano defended his remarks to Newsweek Magazine as a misunderstanding by the reporter by TOKENIZING the amount of black and minorities serving within the Party, including women.

19) A not so slick effort to deflect the focus from the toxicity of the long standing oppression within the Salem County Democratic Committee . This moment was was awkward and at times rambling.

20) Before he left the meeting, @NJSenatePres eluded to the divisions within the party and urged the local Dems to come together and support the winners of the Primary election. The ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM is the lack of diversity in the leadership. 🐘

21) Dearest @NJDSC @GovMurphy @stevecaltabiano The Salem County Democratic Committee is lead by an all White male supreme privileged Executive Board. This is what WHITE SUPREMACY looks like.

22) When an all White male Board votes in secret according to a set of silent rules they they’ve created to suit their privileged needs, the result is an unstated, institutional operating policy of segregating and economically & politically oppressing the nonwhite population.

23) . . This what APARTHEID looks like ('◉⌓◉’).
