California politicians created an artificial housing crisis. They continue to advocate solutions that make that crisis worse. And now they are upset the federal government won't just bail them out.

If people in CA want to fix their state, they need to vote out these clowns.
California makes up 12% of the U.S. populations, but has nearly 25% of the country's homeless population.

The country had a 2.7% rise in homelessness last year almost exclusively because CA's homeless population went up 16.4%.

This is a CA problem.

This problem was created because of simple economics. Increasing demand for housing with a lack of supply.

That lack of supply is due almost exclusively to insane regulations, especially zoning. Now you have a crisis.
Add: Some have rightly pointed out that there are other problems that have contributed. Especially the legal and enforcement changes related to drug usage.

That also falls on many of the same politicians IMO.
