The sole pieces of supporting evidence offered for this claim are that people *at events for other candidates* don’t generally say Bernie is their top choice (duh!) and a quote that is clearly contradicted by readily available polling. Classic @nytimes. nytimes.com/2019/12/26/us/…
Even in a piece headlined “Why Bernie Sanders is Tough to Beat,” the @nytimes sneaks in subtle evidence-free digs all over the place.

Generally speaking, political coverage in the @nytimes is much more pro-Democratic-Party-Establishment op-ed than news. Which would be less of a problem if they were honest about it.
