The next person who lectures me about sugar consumption here is getting blocked.

I am a grown adult who can manage her own food intake and that of my children.

Policing the food intake/judgment of other women is patriarchy personified even dressed up in GOOP clothing. Stop it.
This has happened about a dozen times on my feed in the last few weeks and I’m seeing it everywhere in body and fat-shaming posts. Just. Stop. Let people BE.

PS. People get sick for all sorts of reasons. The most common one is VIRUSES, not lollipops.
Last point: if you wouldn’t tell a woman not to get an abortion or birth control or a haircut she wants, you shouldn’t tell a woman what she should & shouldn’t eat.

To quote a great book I got for my kids in the last few weeks, I AM THE BOSS OF MY BODY.

Thank you & peace out.
GOD! I have to add another thing. Assuming ANYTHING about what people eat is engaging in what I’m talking about.

DO NOT DO IT.

If you are missing the point about structures of oppression and think this post is actually about food, I CAN’T HELP YOU.
Final comment: the reason why you don’t see me defending what I eat or telling you about my diet or saying anything whatsoever about the substance of this topic is because to do so would give credibility to the policing as legit.

Again, don’t assume. You know that old saying.
