The PMF group that was hit by the Americans has been fighting ISIS for years. They were on the front lines protecting Iraq from ISIS in Syria and engaged in the ongoing battles with ISIS in the Syrian and Iraqi deserts. They were THE line of defense.
The American attack on this PMF group is not only a disproportionate act of revenge, it is also a threat to regional security. AND it’s pathetic for a so-called super power to get into a fight with a small militia.
If the US is behind this attack on Shia military leaders at Baghdad airport, it will be a major escalation that could start a regional war. Very reckless and scary

Most Americans won’t understand the gravity of this. Qasem Soleimani is head of the Iranian IRGC’s elite Quds Force, which conducts operations outside of Iran in both Iraq & Syria. He was credited with helping turn the tide in both countries against Al-Qaeda & ISIS...
The US (or israel or whoever did it, we still don’t know) assassinating Qasem Soleimani & PMF leader Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis is shocking. These guys defeated ISIS. Shock value is the equivalent of Iran taking out Abraham Lincoln, George Washington and Captain America all in one.
Whoever did this just started a war.
To all those who claim to oppose Trump, now is the time to get in the streets and oppose his administration’s push for war with Iran!
This is very serious. The US essentially declared war on Iran by assassinating its most revered military figure in Iraq. And by also killing the head of the PMF, the US created more enemies in Iraq. There will be regional retaliation. It’s unlikely it can be prevented.
Also important to note that the US killed the men who prevented ISIS and Al Qaeda from taking over the region. You should question why the enemies of ISIS and Al Qaeda are targeted for death by America.
