Sobhe_no newspapers publishes some details about #Syria Pres. #Assad trip to Tehran February 25. According to report, Assad and #Soleimani left Damascus on same day with a small plane. Neither FM al-Muallem nor Syrian ambassador in #Iran were aware of the visit.

He was killed in #Iraq by a #US order and #Iran will hit the #US by Khamenei order.

That will drag a wider confrontation

#Iran #QassemSoleimani commander was due to visit #Turkey President Erdogan and had a visit scheduled to #Lebanon.

His trips were known for many. The assassination will not at all affect Iran military and operationally because no one is indispensable.

1: The key here is the reaction of the people.

Most Iraqis don't like the Iranians and the Iranian influence. The anti govt protests there were against a govt controlled by the Iranians and against the Iranians themselves. The PMUs were the ones using snipers to shoot protesters
2: With regards to #Iran, this is a big event that can't go without retaliation. The situation can easily lead to a full scale war. Everybody in the region is now preparing for the eventuality of war.

If conflict starts, It'll be a regional war including Israel, Hezboallah, etc
3: Let's not even talk about the price of oil if conflict starts. This is the oil hub of the world & doesn't matter is a country is self sufficient in oil or not. Oil follows an international price. So if the fireworks go in big scale, oil will skyrocket & the economy 👎

If confirmed, Iranian Revolutinary Guard commander Qasim Soleimani’s killing either aborts decades of Iranian malfeasance across the Middle East in Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Lebanon & Palestinian Territories & paves the way to peace with Israel, or we just took a step towards war.
Again, if confirmed, this is a major blow to Iran & her ability to run wars by proxy in Gaza via Islamic Jihad (and Hamas) and in Syria, Iraq & Lebanon via & Hezbollah, in Yemen via Houthis & her efforts in Afghanistan & elsewhere.

Just to state the obvious: This is largest confrontation between #Israel and #Syria since 1973; the first time #Iran and the IRGC themselves launched missiles at #Israel. Expect even more.
With all the targeting in Damascus #Syria, expect #Israel to go after the main IRGC headquarters near the Damascus Airport. Around 1,000 IRGC tend to be stationed there, along with senior leadership.
Suggestion: If you thought what the US did in response to the April CW attack in #Syria was strong, fasten your seat belts.
