1/Trump's lawyers are req'd (& expected) to answer his Impeachment Trial summons later today, meanwhile McConnell is holding his cards close to the vest, letting few-even in his own conference-know exactly how he plans to run the trial. He may try to limit the actual # of trial
2/days, so that if Sens use all their debate time it could mean mean fewer calendar days for the trial & a faster verdict. Clinton’s trial ran for five weeks, with opening arguments starting a week after it formally began. Trump's could be far shorter if MM has his way.
