Holy fuck, the President's lawyer is straight up declaring in the Senate that the President can and will accept information to assist his campaign from foreign states, and it's good for him to do that.
Where do we go from here? The President has made it his official position that if any foreign states have materials on his opponents that will help him win an election, they should bring it to him, and that his DOJ has made it clear that they won't consider it a crime.
Everyone in the Senate is pretending like the President's lawyers didn't just announce that the President is two thumbs up on foreign interference. Cool.
