For Presidents Day, I bring you the Patriotic storm drain/American Sewer on my street. I’ve always wanted to stop and ask the guy whether he was going for pride or irony. Think it’s the former & not going to ask, he appears to be a “stay off my lawn (compound) kinda guy”
My street is fairly solid Trump country & have to say I’ve never seen a candidate/President inspire people to make their own homemade signs out of everything. Other side of the river, there’s 1 homemade Bernie sign.
Also strong current on the street of US flags alongside other country flags I assume to designate their ancestry - Irish, Scottish, Swedish flags from what I suspect are people many generations from living there

@cwarzel Bloomberg's social media approach probably smart tactic. But still one major variable where Trump has advantage. The messenger powers the message & distribution. Trump's actions in the physical world drive engagement virtual world, I've only seen Bloomberg do that once.
@cwarzel When I encounter social media strategists, they still don't quite get this , no line between physical-virtual world, and a good engagement strategy plays in both. Kremlin trolls staged events, provocations; Trump does rallies....Bloomberg, if pursues meme only strategy, will fail

Before the Iowa caucuses, Democrat media outlets were griping about Iowa being first and insinuating Iowa was “too white and rural.”
