1/I would just like to say a few words about how beautifully ridiculous this old Lego spaceship is.
2/First of all, the cabin is OPEN TO SPACE.
3/This computer or control panel is tucked away where it's completely inaccessible.
4/These big engines will clearly vaporize the rear section of the ship if they fire while the two sections are connected.
5/Are those missiles on the tail fin? Why would you put missiles where they're easy to see and target??
6/Also, this ship is absolutely *covered* in forward-pointing arrows.

Is that to remind people which way the ship goes??
7/Engines clustered at the tips of wings? That's going to create a LOT of torque, especially considering that these wings have a variable angle.
8/And what's with these external hoses? Seems pretty dangerous no matter what these hoses are carrying. But it looks like propellant, since the hoses are connected to exhaust nozzles. That's asking for trouble.
9/Every design aspect of this ship is absurd, but you know what?

Sometimes you have to sacrifice functionality for AESTHETICS.

And boy does this thing look good. 🥰

Oh and here's a smaller companion ship. Also super gorgeous, though it looks like its big laser is going to shoot off its own missile...
