Disappointing that @ShankerASingham repeats (without evidence) the manifestly false claim that the EU has changed its position in relation to level field commitments.

This, however, is more sensible. Though the devil will be in the detail of what is acceptable divergence and what is unacceptable weakening so as to give UK firms an unfair advantage in easier access to subsidies. And nothing to be said for divergence just for divergence’s sake.
