@WhoWouldWin13 YES! LOVE THIS ONE!!!
@WhoWouldWin13 Both combatants have a tendency to speak to an aggressor before they attack. While Ed-209 commands a perp to halt and drop their weapon, Humongous says repeatedly "Who Goes?" This hesitation would be in a way very comical, though it would give Humungous time to arm himself
@WhoWouldWin13 with his giant axe before the ED-209 cuts loose with its guns or its missile launchers (has three small missiles). If Ed-209 opens up with its guns, its bullets might...just might pierce Humongous' armor (and no doubt the soft spots seen on its arms). This could cause the
@WhoWouldWin13 Humongous problems with its gears and levers (the bullets damaging them), causing the Humongous to be broken, unable to move. Its missile launchers could potentially do much more damage, but it must be remembered that the Humongous is well cased with medieval steel armor, thicker
@WhoWouldWin13 than that of the heaviest knight. Also, he has blades that pop out of the ground right behind him, keeping his victims penned in while he goes Medieval on their butts (Ving Rhames reference there, Pulp Fiction).
@WhoWouldWin13 This battle all comes down to timing. How long does it take for both combatants to attack? How long does it take to go from warning to self defense? Well, it depends.

I watched both vids on Humongous and ED-209 (from the original film) and timed both, to see which would
@WhoWouldWin13 attack first.

Ed-209 has attacked anywhere from 12 to 24 seconds, while Humongous takes 23. If Ed-209 is sent on the attack like he was when Dick Jones sicced him on Robocop, then Ed-209 has a very good chance of winning this fight. However, if it is working the way it did
@WhoWouldWin13 when Dick Jones first did a demonstration of ED-209 at a OCP board meeting, then Humongous will strike him with his axe before Ed-209 could get a shot off. The question is...would Humongous' medieval steel axe be able to cut through Ed-209's modern metallic armor? The latter
@WhoWouldWin13 will be of a higher quality and stronger than anything of the medieval world, but then again...that axe is HUGE. Even if the blade breaks, it would still, with that amount of mass and power, crumple Ed-209's armor. It could potentially even damage its computer chip, depending
@WhoWouldWin13 on where the hit comes.

We also have to remember that Ed-209's feet could get messed up by the blades that pop up behind it during this fight. If it backs up, it could potentially trip and fall, going squirrelly while Humongous brings his axe down.
@WhoWouldWin13 If the Ed-209 was smart, it'd fire long before the Humongous picked up its axe. But the Ed-209 is really dumb as a box of rocks. Indeed, it might wait for the Humongous to comply with its orders to disarm before it fired, just like in the OCP demonstration shown in the film.
@WhoWouldWin13 Personally, I think that axe will come down before Ed-209 fires. The force of the impact could set the ED-209's accuracy off, could potentially even make it trip. Some bullets will hit the humongous, however, causing some significant damage but...it would still get that first
@WhoWouldWin13 hit.

That is, unless it was engaging in combat like Dick Jones had it do when Robocop tried to arrest him. Then Humongous would get peppered.

However, in most cases, the Ed-209 would warn a foe to disarm or back off long before firing, and Humongous would still, in that case
@WhoWouldWin13 get the first hit.

My verdict???
@WhoWouldWin13 HUMONGOUS GIVES ED-209 THE AXE!!!!!!!
LITERALLY!!!!!
