Payment of tests/care for #COVID19: “Under §70.13 @CDCDirector can authorize payment for care & treatment, although it's secondary to any state, local, or private insurance obligations” according to @alexandraphelan. What the chance @CDCgov Director will authorize it? Unclear.
2) @alexandraphelan adds: “The law provides for this (HC cost), and it's unethical for the US government to require individuals subjected to mandatory care & treatment to pay for it”
3) Link to specific law “§70.13” that allows @CDCDirector to authorize under mandatory quarantine. But being secondary to private insurance sucks. “shall be paid only after all third-party payers have made payment in satisfaction of obligations.“ #COVID19 law.cornell.edu/cfr/text/42/70…
