There are now 14 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Alberta, double from the last update. Three new from the Edmonton zone, four from Calgary. All travel related.
One of the previously reported people with confirmed COVID-19 is now receiving treatment in the hospital. This person had pre-existing medical conditions.
The fact that all new cases are travel-related shows public health measures are doing what they're supposed to do, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Deena Hinshaw says.

On peak day of Wuhan epidemic in late Feb, there were ~9600 people seriously ill; 2087 people needing critical care/ventilators. That's beyond capacity of health care system in any US city. So we need to consider how to slow COVID-19 spread in US through social distancing.3/x

UPDATE:As soon as tomorrow (Monday), the ship will begin disembarking passengers at Port of Oakland. The ship will only be docked during duration of disembarkment. This mission is a joint federal & state effort, w local support.....
These passengers will NOT be released into the general public. Passengers who may require acute medical treatment and hospitalization will be transported to health care facilities in the Bay Area and beyond (that are prepared to receive such patients)....
If passengers do not require acute medical care following health screenings, those who are California residents will go to a federally run isolation facility within Northern California for testing and isolation, while NON-Californians will be transported by the federal government

At least 53 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in California as of March 4.
Under the state of emergency, policies will be put in place to prevent price gouging, allow health care workers from out of state to assist at California health care facilities, and increase the number of labs testing for the virus.
