What if I told you that #BigTech and #SocialMedia platforms are manipulating you, steering you toward #Health information that they think is right, rather than letting you evaluate content for yourself?

Commentary by @MaryamHenein (Thread 👇) theepochtimes.com/google-censors…
Accredited professionals, meanwhile, who stand for #Health freedom and who criticize Big Anything, are losing posting privileges, getting banned, being buried, finding themselves deranked, and getting digitally assassinated.
Content is literally disappearing from the Internet along with our #Health choices.

It sounds conspiratorial because it is. Independent #Journalists and health experts are blowing the whistle. But it’s become a silent one.

There is so much to unpack about gender and #chronicillness, I barely know where to begin. But let's give it a go. Data THREAD first, personal experiences second. (1/9) #millionsmissingspeakout #pwME @MEActNet
Up until very recently, the majority of medical research has been performed on men. It used to be against the law to include most women in clinical trials. Even after that law was overturned, a second had to be enacted requiring we be included. #pwME (2/9) tinyurl.com/y35rtwzv
The difference in the way women present symptoms and the ignorance around this kills.
When women have heart attacks, for example, the typical symptoms veer sharply from what med students learned from their textbooks. (3/9) #millionsmissingspeakout #pwME psmag.com/social-justice…

.@SarahbaxterSTM's argues that #fibromyalgia, #mecfs, #lupus, #depression, self-harming and #anorexia are caused by female ambition and fragility.

What's c. 1880 is new again.

thetimes.co.uk/article/kirsty…
This is just so silly. In the 19th century, there was a panic in the medical profession (and among social commentators) about women becoming ill with neurological and "nervous" conditions because they were overworking their brains/nerves, which were naturally weaker than men's.
This “fact” was used to bolster the argument in favor of stopping women's formal education after age 16 and most certainly not letting them enroll in university.

Dr L in the buzzfeed article says humans make alpha-gal sugar, But, here’s a podcast & transcript w/Dr Commins, Prof at UNC Allergy & Immunology who was part of the discovery team in 2009 & is an expert on AG. He says humans don’t make alpha-gal sugar./1 apple.news/A-Ybbhe0lQXuD_…
Dr Commins also clarified that the 2009 discovery involved the lone star tick but that it can be caused by other ticks. His research is ongoing. I disagree w/him on 2 things:
1) I Do think anyone w/a tick bite should be tested for the allergy apprx 6 weeks after the bite.
And/2
2) The reaction does not always cause itching. I’ve found the random palm itching to be more common than torso hives, but, even more common than that is no hives. And, I agree that the allergy response, unlike other food allergies, is delayed. Dr C say apprx 4 hrs after/3
