Some #COVID19 great news coming out of #Taiwan. A team of genome researchers at Academic Sinica developed a rapid testing that can shorten the time for nucleic testing, the standard testing to confirm #coronavirus cases, from 4 hours to 15 to 20 minutes. udn.com/news/story/120…
This whole research took the team only 19 days to complete. The team successfully identified the single antibody that can distinguish the RNA of #SARSCoV2, which can play a key role in developing the rapid test.
Once again, #Taiwan proves to the rest of the world why playing by #China's rule to exclude it from @WHO is a big mistake, as the island's efficient deployment of key resources to fight the #COVID19 epidemic has proven to be the key in its success time and time again.
