For those who don't follow the reasoning behind the speculation expressed in recent talks w/ Tim about China and the viral outbreak, here it is spelled out in as straightforward a fashion as I can currently manage.

I want to emphasize that all of this is unbridled speculation. That said, as I discussed in the previous video in which we talked about the virus, my idea is the basic one you see with nuclear weapons: a doctrine of mutually assured destruction.
Actually think about Nuclear weapons for a minute. The whole idea is insane at scale. Everything is fucked by nuclear war. Everyone is fucked. But the idea is that the 'mutually assured destruction' that comes with nuclear weapons effectively serves as a check.
It keeps people from taking action because the stakes are too high. That's why they call it a 'nuclear deterrent'. Now. Come back to the virus. Imagine that China is already under serious pressure. Serious trade war. Serious financial problems.
The whole 'Belt and Road' initiative is facing real problems. Major problems in Hong Kong. Failure to get their chosen candidates into power in Taiwan, etc. In this situation the regime is directly threatened. Now imagine that groups within the PRC are getting uppity.
Imagine that they're concentrated in Hubei province. Imagine that the CCP wants to slap them down, but they'll be facing backlash in Western media if they do so. Imagine that they recognize this will play into Trump's hands.
By this I mean that the more they go after their own people, the more it can be turned into a global issue; the more they crack down, the more it will create further problems – and pretexts for intervention – and eventually the whole thing splinters apart. Now imagine a virus.
Imagine the way in which it achieves several things at once. It gives them cover to crack down on the very province into which it is (under this speculative theory) introduced – after all, they have to deal with the public health crisis right?
No more people on the streets. You can carry away anyone you want. Reporters will be afraid to go there because of sickness. Police will have an excuse to say nobody goes in or out. That's what Tim is talking about. Then there are my ideas.
That it allows them to threaten mutually assured destruction. It signals a new 'doctrine'. Come after us and we'll set off a bio-weapon (again, I emphasize, this is speculation) and we'll even use our own population to transmit it. I dare you to single them out, bigot!
As Tim pointed out the outbreak happened right around Chinese New Year, which is one of the largest annual human migrations (the largest?) that happens as Chinese people come home for the holidays. Then they go back to wherever they were.
Places like Italy, for example, working in leather manufacturing. And the Chinese can't be blamed for an attack because people come in & say "The first half of this video is nonsense about how a global pandemic is a planned china/globalist plot, even though this event HURTS them"
As I said, mutually assured destruction. AND it creates a massive economic downturn that can be associated with Trump in a critical election year. It serves as a weapon for Trump's domestic opposition. As in, "the economy has gone to shit under Trump, and GAWD! PEOPLE ARE DYING!"
This is just a superficial examination of the possibilities. But actually think about it. Actually give it some consideration. I'm not saying this is what China would do if they had other options.
But I am suggesting they might do it if the party was looking down both barrels of losing control, w/ their backs against a wall. Again, not saying the hypothesis is sound. But I do assert that it shouldn't be shrugged away as total nonsense without giving it due consideration.
