I remain confused by govt messaging. If the plan is to accept that a set % of the population will get the virus, and the virus has the death rate we've read about for the over-70s, why is there not a v.clear message not to visit older parents, leave kids with grandparents etc?
I'm not particularly questioning the approach. From what I've heard, I understand the sense of it. But what explains this lack of warning?
Please don't reply with these bizarre conspiracy theories about Tories wanting a cull of old people. I can assure you that the very last people they'd leave alive in a cull are the old people.
