I hate to say this, because @twitter @verified really sucks, but....

Don't trust any medical information from accounts that purport to be doctors, PhD or med organizations that don't have verified accounts, unless you can independently establish other trusted accounts can vouch.
There is SO much disinfo out there, and I'm seeing a bunch of 'doctors' saying things that are clearly inaccurate.

Yes, I know that I'm neither a doctor nor a verified account (not for lack of trying ) -
I don't think you should blindly trust me either.
But organizations that have started in the past month that aren't verified, esp. when only unverified doctors follow them....

Aii builds up in the lungs during COVID19 because the enzyme that usually breaks it down is hijacked by viral particles - ACE2 is what the virus uses to break into cells.

But please understand that we #Indigenous academics spend considerable time to cultivate relationships of TRUST. No one should expect automatic access our networks. 1/8 #phd
Some well-intentioned researchers have asked to contact my networks bc they 1) have a #diversity goal (Indigenous people as a ✔️), 2) request a letter of support, or 3) have an idea to "help us". If this is our first communication, understand that we have not yet built trust. 2/8
Know that many #Indigenous academics have been burned by ppl who take the letter of support without honoring their commitments to those who helped obtain the grant or tenureship benchmark. That's extractive, and we do not forget. (Also true for #research community engagement) 3/8

@Twitter I drafted a tweet on my phone but of course, can't access "draft's" on the desktop. So lets maybe start there. The desktop and @Tweetdeck version should be MORE robust than the mobile app not less. Tweetdeck, for example, has no bookmarks, emoji's, live video, polls, gif's, etc
@Twitter @TweetDeck There are SO MANY great meaningful quotes, threads, replies, and conversations that vanish into the Twitter ether, drowned out by hot takes, snark, and 280 character riffs on what some influencer or politician just did. Find a way to collect and resurface this treasure trove.

When I tried "site:twitter[dot]com gokulnk" on @Google I could see only my replies to tweets by popular people like @naval @aantonop and @APompliano google.co.in/search?q=site%…
Welcome to new form of discrimination in digital era :P
It took me some time realise that google only indexes popular twitter handles and interactions on tweets by those accounts. I had to read stonetemple.com/twitter-indexi… to understand the extent of the problem.
