A. The USA is a giant country. It is more than New York City, San Francisco, New Orleans and Seattle. To impose the same kinds of economic paralysis on all Americans as are imposed to handle the problems of those areas of the country needs to be questioned.

B. It should be remembered that for the vast majority of those getting sick from COVID-19, have very mild cases, no worse than any other flu with which we are all familiar. 3)

It is not just that some people are more susceptible, but it is also that some populations are more susceptible to have a more serious case or to have their lives in danger.

C. There is a lie out there about the Administration's plan giving lots of money to corporations. It is a lie. No one is proposing to give money to large corporations. 5)

The bill is about providing loans, based on assets as collateral, including stock as collateral, administrated by the Federal Reserve Bank, and loans have to be repaid. 6)

There are provisions banning stock buy-backs, and provisions that if the loans are not paid back, for the seizure of company stock or assets. Interestingly, the US treasury might profit if the price of stocks rises as is expected. 7)

There are too many that have not read the bill who are attacking it. And that includes Jesse Watters on the Five on Fox, ignorantly saying that the bill “gave money” to corporations. 8)

D. There is a long history of prediction by: ” experts”, & if you look at that history you may just find that seldom were those expert predictions correct. 9)

This time we have “expert” predictions repeated by journalists who never do their research & so misunderstand what the experts predicted. One expert claimed that Coronavirus vaccines will not be available generally for at least 18 months. 10)

So, what was reported? CNN reported that the virus would not be under control and the economy stopped for 18 months. There is more to fear from bad journalism than there is from the virus.

E. Doctors here in Florida have told me that the vast majority of difficult cases (and death) have been people averaging 80 years of age, and smokers. Why is it that the media has not mentioned the smoking thing. 12)

F. I would like to see all those journalists working for the media, & all those university professors with tenure who are trying to politicize this crisis, all those “talking heads”. Who seem to ignore the fact of what this crisis is costing working people and small business. 13)

To have their pay stopped while the crisis is in effect, to be denied their incomes, as long as people are out of work and businesses closed. I really wonder how some of these NY or LA-based critics would report if they were the ones losing their income and businesses." 14)
