Propane Jane: Isn't it interesting, the connection between Trump/Kardashians/Kanye West? It's like when Trump's being criticized, the Kardashians or Kanye are paraded out as a distraction.

Jane: I came of age before reality TV was a thing. I remember when reality TV first came out & truly was reality/unscripted; now it's very clearly scripted. The scripted reality characters are given so much power in our society that it's become our election system

Propane Jane: That's such a great point. I prefer watching crime shows but I've never watched medical shows like ER.

Propane Jane: Our society has become accustomed to watching doctors on TV. The background romances, the backstories distract while in real life, medicine can be dirty & even sad. Dr. Fauci is not glamorous or flashy but he's intelligent & real.

Propane Jane: The MAGA world is not able to go down the road of medical facts & scientific processes, & it's also the antithesis of what their leader states. Now the MAGA world has turned on Dr. Fauci, saying he's out to get Trump & take him down.

Propane Jane: The Republican governors are less likely to take any measures for social distancing; they're less likely to take steps towards testing their citizens. Their numbers are lower than Dem states b/c they aren't testing as often.

Propane Jane: The coronavirus isn't just in NYC & CA; it's not just in Democratic areas. It's in other states as well, but they aren't being tested as often yet.

Propane Jane: There's a performative aspect to this, wanting to say, "This is our way of stepping out on faith." The MAGAts are like the snake venom people.

Propane Jane: Trump is a narcissist. He will always try to insert himself into anything that looks good & try to remove himself from anything that looks bad.

Propane Jane: The MAGAts won't blame Trump for the spread of the coronavirus or for the lack of medical equipment needed to deal with the virus.

Propane Jane: When you know people are coming to the US who've tested positive for the coronavirus, how you act at that moment determines everything. We need to listen to reality & science, not to a fake President.

Propane Jane: A crook, a sociopath, a predator, someone like Trump isn't able to see anything on a global scale except how to steal everything he can while he's there. We need to get him out of there & let the adults take charge.
