n size is robust enough at 1500 to make the crosstabs meaningful (MOEs on the crosstabs are about double the survey MOE so about +-5.6. I would point your attention to the party crosstab, which shows that only 86% of Rs approve of the fed response, that's a little low
You'll note when Republicans are prompted to think directly about Trump, and Trump's handling of the crisis, suddenly the fed government is doing about 8pts better handling the crisis.
What's a big problem for Trump are those Indie numbers, bc he's starting the crisis upside down with them, here, in the Rally Around the Flag time period. That doesn't look for him, esp now that he's priming us to expect 150K dead Americans.
